I just phoned Pierre this morning.

Friday, he went back to his parents' home at St Brieuc. But saturday, his doctor decided to hospitalize him at St Brieuc hospital.
He passed some scanner, and they saw that he had a pyramid petrous fracture (fracture du rocher in french; thanks Igor for the english translation). This is a small bone in the head, near the ear, and Pierre's one is broken.

So, he had to be transported to the Rennes hospital.
This morning, the latest scanner indicated that there was no big problem, and meningitis was not touched.
He will stay at Rennes hospital at least until monday, and will need about 4 weeks of rest.

A call to witness was made in the local newspaper about his aggression.
