XFS deadlock

I discovered a dead lock problem in SGI's filesystem XFS in Linux kernel 2.6.9. It seems that the problem has been already reported and fixed.

But I had to reboot my main server 3 times in 10 days, because if you move a file and try to download it at the same time, your process becomes unkillable...

I wouldn't be able to do any reading or writing from my hard drive after a few days of uptime, and would get a ton of weird timeout messages on the console until I rebooted. It seems like 2.6.9 was just a big bust all around.
