Thermal 1: ok, 91.0 degrees C
Caused by the fucking Flash plugin sucking 100% CPU for hours (I forgot to close a webpage....)

Good to hear I'm not the only one getting such high tempratures on his Thinkpad... I got used to it, in if I worry too much, I do a quick echo 1400000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq: That allows the fan to keep up.
I reached the critical temperature (99°C) twice on my T43 recently. At least, I am glad to know that the machine safely shuts down almost immediately (thanks to acpid).
Now, I usually switch to the powersave cpufreq governor instead of ondemand when the CPU stays near 100% for a long time, it makes the temperature lower than 60°C.
Wow, 91C is pretty high. Afaik the Pentium M's are made to be able to work correctly at up to 90C. My Dell Inspiron has never got above 61C, btw, and that was in very special conditions: fucking hot weather (40C) and me making it always run at 100% cpu usage to see how hot it would get.
How do you get the temperature of your CPU? I did not find it in my X40 /proc.

I had the same problem. Now, I use flashblock firefox plugin, that only open flash when you want. I recommend you!
