Sparc buildd and howto

After restarting my i386 buildd some days ago, Héctor García Álvarez asked me where he could find a howto to setup a buildd. Unfortunately, I never found any clear doc about that.
Today, I have setup a new sparc buildd which is also rebuilding the whole archive, thus it will take something like... 2 or 3 months I think (UltraSparc II @ 360 MHz with 256 MB RAM).
But this time I clearly took notes on what I did, and there's now a mini-howto. I'm sure it's not really complete, but that should help you to have something working. As usual, do not hesitate to send me feedbacks.

That looks like a great guide. I've tried multiple times to setup a buildd and always failed.
I will try following your recipe this evening and seeing how it works out. If it works I think I'll post a guide too.
Thanks a lot for sharing, more documentation on these things is always a good thing.
Thanks for the how-to. It is useful and well-written. I wonder, though, if you could expand it to the setup that could build packages for several distributions, not just unstable.
In fact, that's just a matter of tweaking some configuration files, add others wanna-build databases and add others chroot.
Not too complicated, but do not hesitate to contribute.
hi,
what about moving this to wiki.debian.org?
Just do it
