Raphael Hertzog as DPL

At least, someone is going to be dumped.

Information about this post.

DPL 2007

Let me explain a little thing before I begin to post some stuff. I'm going to write or draw several things on this blog for fun about the Debian Project Leader election 2007. This is my way to see how fun are the next DPL, because I don't have many questions to ask them.

Please, candidates, feel free to answers in comments or via your blog.

DPL election begin

Since yesterday, the election process of the Debian Project Leader started. It's now time for nomination, as explained in the mail that our dear secretary sent (with the same paragraph twice, ahah, I am mean, I know, sorry). I really wish that this year some people are going to be really inside the project, will listen to developers and will give a big kick in the bushes. Years after years, we really need it more and more.

A lot of people[1] are asking if I'm going to be a candidate this year. No, you know, I know I'm so famous and loved that I would be elected right away, but I don't think I'm the man. I prefer to give a chance to others people. And I heard that some real good developers are going to make this happening. I assure I will be behind them!

If I were you, I'd stay tuned, because I believe that this year might be a real turn for Debian!

Notes

[1] Not true right now, but I'm sure it will be soon.
